This clock is of dubious quality, especially considering the cost. It ships in two pieces, which do not fit together cleanly, and the two outermost screw holes do not line up. Fixing this requires twisting the frame, which I did not find easy to do without damaging the finish. The hands are unbelievably flimsy, and the actual clock mechanism is pretty much the same that you'll find in a $10 wall clock from Walmart. Thinking of this as a large piece of art instead of an actual clock will probably make it easier to swallow the price. Oh, and I doubt most people will care, but the designer apparently did not know the Roman numeral for '4'.

Only one page of instructions received, only in spanish, and only showed how parts go together -- nothing about order of assembly steps. So here's some tips:

Put table top upside-down and remove bottom panel (remember which is edge faces front/back).

Attach legs loosely.

Attach base shelf to legs.

Turn upright, lift each table corner in turn so top of leg is flush with top of side panels, and snug bolts (do not over-tighten or you'll crack the board they attach to).

Reattach bottom panel.
