Catskill Craftsmen manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily Northern Yellow Birch. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. This cart comes with a butcher block top, drawer, cabinet and open shelf storage. It has locking caster wheels and two nickel plated towel bars. The drawers have metal glides. Yes, there are a lot of pieces, but this is no harder to assemble than some other kits. "Some assembly required" is more like "lots of assembly required," but it is merely long, not hard. Plan on two hours. Only one problem: the screws separately packaged and clearly marked for the drawer-side roller assembly had heads that were too small for the metal holes. They should have been 5/8 #6, not #4. I bought 4 for 84 cents at the local hardware store. The top and doors are fine-looking butcher-block, while the corners and braces are nice hardwood; the rest is mostly veneered on both sides over composite.
