Is it a little pricey, yes.Is it worth every penny if you really want to get detailed with your homebrew, ABSOLUTELY YES!
I try to keep it as cheap as possible when it comes to building my homebrew equipemnt, so dropping $250 on one piece of my kegerator was a big deal to me (I bought the fridge itself off of Craigslist for $80). I was really wondering if I was going to use the varying pressures and it immediately was useful. I like to brew a variety of styles, so this enabled me to put higher pressures to my golden strong ale and hef, while keeping a nice mellow pressure on my IPA. Couldn't be happier I splurged on this not so little guy.
