I picked up a new unit manufactered in 2009 in 2012 at a discount price. Mine is the same as this but no glass in the door. Takes about 25min per load. So fast and easy, my teenagers are doing more of their own laundry. This stacked unit does not take any more space in your home than a single dryer and is really a fabulous idea for a large family. If you're wondering if speed queens are really speedy, the answer is YES!!!!! I noticed more lint in the catcher but maybe these machines are just better at catching the lint than my old machine which was probaly letting it enter to outflow piping.
