I have been looking for a nice large electric fireplace for about 2 years under $500. This one came and it is great! It is large enough to make a statement and have a prominent place in the room. The assembly took me about 1.5 hours and was not that difficult -- you just need a screwdriver. The heater on the fireplace produces heat immediately and warms a room about 20'x20' nicely. Various settings for the flames, logs, and heater -- it's simply wonderful for a snowy day!
