The item looks exactly like the picture and is well-made. Assembly was straightforward although an extra set of hands would have been helpful and the little wrench provided was minimally helpful. I did reinforce some of the crucial joints with L-brackets just to be safe, though. This step cost an extra $5.00 and maybe ten more minutes. The only issue I have is the two pieces tend to slide apart on the hard-wood flooring and the cushion wants to slip sideways into the gap. This just took an extra trip to the hardware store to get a flat plate to join the pieces and some rubber grips for the legs. It is comfortable but not very cushy-- the foam is pretty firm, but the pillows are nice.
