This is a nice set, the price was right because you not only get the desk & hutch but the chair too. It is a mid-size set so I told my daughter to stop growing, but I'd say she will probably not outgrow it until she is a teenager. This works for now, and it doesn't take up too much space. It was not hard to put together compared to some furniture we've assembled. I would recommend for children from about 6-12 years old.
