This is a really nice and solid piece! This piece came completely assembled with the exception of the legs. However, installing the legs took less than two minutes. It's black with a distressed finished. Underneath the distressed black is a pretty reddish tone that shows through the distressing--it's not over-powering--it's a beautiful addition. I'm happy with the quality, the colors and even the shipping. I would definitely recommend this!
