Product Description

This rugged control is FTM's 3rd generation power control. The AEC15 was built from the ground up using sophisticated Advanced Electronic Controller technology. Using a Digital Micro Processor allows the AEC15 to have OVERLOAD PROTECTION. If the controller senses an amperage overload, it will automatically limit the current flow to 15 amps and warn the operator with an indicator light. The controller also has a LOW VOLTAGE indicator light that warns you if your supply voltage drops below 100 volts. This power control has a rugged anodized aluminum housing with an internal cooling fan. The dual receptacle allows you to control 2 of FTM's Strip Heaters. Can be used with some NiChrome wire applications.

Serta Pinehurst Micro Fiber Queen Futon Mattress, Cedar Review

I purchased the queen sized futon as my regular mattress because a my full sized mattress wasn't really big enough any more. I was surprised that it was actually quite firm and thick. I put it on top of a plywood sheet and it feels fine, but it's possible that if put on springs or slats they could be felt through it which is something to keep in mind. The microfiber material feels nice but I also put a fitted sheet on top because the micro fiber itself can't be removed and washed.

I've used it for two months and it does seem that it gets imprints if you sleep in the same position night after night. My solution is to sleep on it sideways sometimes, but that might not cut it for most people. Right now it's not too bad and could just partly be explained to natural compression, but I can imagine it won't last years and years.

One thing I don't understand is that I bought it for ~$130, and right after the price went up $100 on the amazon page. It could be due to supply I guess; in any case while I'm happy with my purchase I wouldn't pay that much more than I did for it.

South Shore Popular Collection Full Mate's Bed, Natural Maple Review

This item came nicely packaged and no items were missing. It's worth it to take the time and inventory of all pieces before starting the assembly. I'm fairly good with tools overall and following the directions step by step was not that bad (like building a big model kit). But if you are not good with tools or have no patience, then have someone else put this thing together. The instructions just showed pictures. Primary tools used were phillips screwdriver and good hammer. The assembly came together pretty good. At first I was skeptic in that it would feel "flimsy", but was satisfied once it was completed, it felt real "strong". Overall I am satisfied with this bed. We also bought the matching headboard which made the bed look even better.

Catskill Craftsmen Mid-Size Two Door Cart with Drop Leaf Review

I will update this review after the manufacturer makes good on their promise and sends me the two pieces that were damaged in Amazon's original shipment. I thought I'd start my review now, however:

1. As previously mentioned, two pieces were damaged while the package was in Amazon's control or while in transit to me via UPS. One damaged piece is one of the side panels, which has a large crack from top to bottom. The other is the towel bar, which has a significant dent in it. Unfortunately the first step in the assembly instructions involves attaching the side panels, so I haven't even been able to start assembling my cart yet despite my receiving it from Amazon 13 days ago. I didn't get around to opening the box for a day after it arrived, though I was immediately concerned about damage when the driver delivered the package because I could hear wood rattling around inside the box. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's phone line is only open Monday-Friday, so I had to wait another couple of days to report the damage. (Inside the box are two separate admonishments to NOT return the product if there are missing and/or damaged pieces but rather to call for replacements.) When I spoke with a woman at Catskill on 12/17/12 she assured me the pieces would go out that day, but according to UPS transit times the package should have been delivered on 12/24/12 if the package was shipped that day. Hopefully it will arrive today, 12/26/12, but I have no tracking number to verify the status of the shipment.

2. The quality of the wood/wood veneers is okay, but not great. I assume most of Catskill's cabinets are of similar quality, and other models have reviews ranging from "the wood looks great" to "it's all fake wood/particle board." I would put my perception somewhere the middle. If you're looking for solid wood furniture, this isn't it. There is a fair amount of veneer covered particle board. I think it will look okay once assembled, no one is going to mistake this cart for a finely crafted piece of furniture. Then again, for the price it probably isn't fair to expect solid wood construction.

I will update this review once the replacement pieces arrive and I can assemble the cart. It's quite disappointing, however, that as a Prime member I still don't have all of the parts to assemble this cart despite my order originally shipping over two weeks ago. I know I could have ignored the manufacturer's instructions to call them for replacement parts and simply handled and exchange with Amazon, but I definitely didn't want to have to lug a 90 pound box back to UPS and risk getting yet another shipment with damage. I do think that the manufacturer would do well to simply upgrade their packing to try to prevent such damage. There was very little inside the box other than the wood and various hardware, so it isn't surprising that things were moving around enough such that damage occurred. Seems like some additional cardboard inside the box and some foam around the hardware would cut down on damage, resulting in happier customers as well as less cost to the manufacturer in terms of sending out replacement parts.

Queen 8" Memory Foam Mattress + Bed Frame set - Queen - No box spring needed Review

The mattress arrived on time in a very tidy box, so it was easy to move from the door into the bedroom. It was easy to unroll and put on the bed support system. The mattress did have a funky smell for a day or so, but opening the windows helped, and after a day - no more smell. The bed also took about a day to "breathe". It was a bit firm when it first arrived, but now acts like a memory foam mattress should. For the price, this bed is excellent.

We hung this clock in a large church foyer. I immediately got many positive responses. The only negative was that the #4 is incorrect for Roman Numerals - 4 I's instead of IV - not a big deal for me. It's still very nice looking! We did nail the bottom of the clock to the wall in addition to the single hanger at the top to prevent people from tampering with it or bumping it.
