Sauder August Hill Entertainment Credenza Review

I just finished putting this amazingly heavy piece of furniture together and they get props for quality of pre-drilling etc, but the colour and finish are terrible. It looks like Grandma's cheap piece of Montgomery Wards furniture from the 70s. It is going straight to Goodwill since "Furniture that has been assembled has no credit value and is not returnable".

Why, you might ask, did I finish putting it together since the colour was dodgy? I've learned that sometimes pieces look different once they're together. Not so this piece. Their photographer should get a bonus (say, from my purchase price) because there is NO way that is the same colour I was shipped, it's not even a little darker as another reviewr stated. This piece is that fake-walnut blue/grey shelf paper colour. Wish I could get a photo that showed the atrocity of the piece I received but the flash adds some warmth and depth to the finish and y'all'd just think I was insane so I'll just warn you that if you're trying to get a piece of furniture that looks like real wood, this is NOT it.
