I was a bit skeptical purchasing such a large item off the internet. "Seeing" the item via measurements and photos isn't the same as in person. The closest store that had this item was over 250 miles away. I was also concerned the island would arrive damaged and I would have to return it, or pieces would be missing. Surprise! The packaging was such that every panel of the piece was undamaged. The island came in two large boxes so carefully wrapped with Styrofoam walls more than an inch thick. All the parts and pieces were there and the instructions were clear and understandable.

Delivery was faster than expected as well, almost a full week ahead of the promised date.

This island replaces one I purchased many years ago when we first moved into our home, the old island worked in the space, but it was time for something new. The two tier island is a much better fit for our kitchen, and has an added bonus of more storage space then our other island.
