We were frustrated with the amount of cigarette butts we were finding outside our restaurant entrance, and equally frustraed with some of the cheaper solutions we had previously purchased. We decided to give this bad boy a try.

THE GOOD:
This thing is BIG. It has a huge capacity so it will never overflow. The design of the lid is nice as to easily accept cigarettes and nothing else. No littler can make it inside. It is heavy, so even when not anchored down, it won't sway even in pretty strong wind gusts. The build is solid and sturdy and the finish is quite atttractive. Actually, the design is quite attractive overall, and doesn't detract from the exterior look of our building.

THE BAD:
Though this may be limited to just our unit, the holes for mounting it to the ground we drilled incorrectly. This prevents us from anchoring it to the pavement outside. Thankfully, the unit is large and heavy enough that theft is not too much of a concern, i would worry about leaving it out if your neighborhood is prone to theft, however. Also, the top of this unit comes off too easily. Just a quick turn and off it comes. It should have a better way of locking down.

All in all, the flaws in this were either isolated or minor. I would definitely recommend this unit for use in high traffic areas. It's worth the price of admission.
