Scottsdale Fireplace Console Review

I received this product with anticipation of it matching the rest of my furniture to some extent. As you can see in the picture it looks like a nice golden oak color with a satin finish. However, it is much darker than pictured, and it looks like it was stained but never had a satin or gloss sealer finish applied. Very poor craftsmenship for being made in the usa. Also some pieces of the wood look like they have a distressed look to it.
The fireplace is great, and very pleasing to the eye. Puts out just enough heat to take the chill out of the air in a small room.
That is the problem with buying online. Until they come up with a way to show the right color I think I will buy from a store next time so I can see the finished product. Or the manufacture needs to state exactly what color stain was used and how it was finished.
