I wanted this so badly for the hall between garage and kitchen. I'm so glad I purchased it because it's so great for backpacks, shoes, gloves, coats, scarves, etc. that usually ended up all over my kitchen. Yes, I know it's not real, solid wood, but I have kids, so I don't mind at this point. Warning: The hooks will not hold anything heavy, other than jackets, coats, scarves so no backpacks, but I have my kids just set them on top of the bench.
