It looks amazing and we love the fact that there are no open shelves. Assembly was time consuming but not difficult since we followed the very clear and specific directions. The doors aligned perfectly and it is a beautiful piece which looks amazing in our condo.

I was looking for a refrigerator that does not need to be defrosted. Avanti is well built and frost free. It does not have a freezer ( I did not need one), but compensates with an interior arrangement of shelves and space which is huge for its size. Everything fits nicely and neatly. The performance is exceptional and cleansing is a breath. Very nice and useful product

A next-door friend, who had a Kangen machine, introduced us to ionized water and showed us the hyped up videos. I didn't believe any of it and certainly was not going to shell out thousands of dollars for something that was reminiscent of snake oil and had no medical testing to back up the claims. He wanted to sell us a machine. So, he supplied us with a gallon of Kangen water every couple of days for over a month, hoping to make the sale.

Well, there is something to it. My wife has had constipation for years. Nothing, except strong laxatives would work. After about a week of drinking the water, she started to be normal without any medication. The only thing different about our diets was the water. I didn't think that it would benefit me at all, since I'm pretty healthy and active for a 70-year old. I've found that my stamina has increased to the point where I no longer need a nap in the afternoon. Again, the only thing different was the water. Perhaps it's psychological, but something is working differently. I'm also sleeping better at night.

Now I am not making any claims, and I do not know how alkaline-ionized water might affect anyone else... but I think that it is about time some serious testing should be done.

We bought this machine through Amazon (Better Health Company), and it does the same thing as the Kangen... maybe even better.

Addendum: The manual is adequate but could be a little better. In order to make PH adjustments for the various settings, they do not tell you that the machine should not be running.
