We ordered this chair to help us rock our newborns to sleep -- one of the main reasons was that this design looked more modern that most of what's available in terms of the lines.

Be aware that in terms of build quality, ability to withstand wear and tear, and overall durability this chair is no different than one that costs $150.

We ended up keeping it because it's a hassle to return.

The finish is uneven, the microfiber upholstery is cheap and does not match up to our other furniture in terms of quality or stain repelling. The saving grace is that it does have utility if you use it frequently throughout the day to rock babies to sleep. I can see what our boys will likely destroy this chair in a few years with typical roughhousing...
