We tried out a hybrid mattress at a local shop and knew it was the right one. Only problem was it was $1800. I found this one and was worried about buying online, but the price difference made the decision for me. We had trouble with shipping from Amazon. It was a day late. This normally wouldn't matter but I needed it when we moved into our new place on a Monday. I tried to order Thursday, but Amazon said it would get here Saturday and we had no way to transport it. I waited to order it Friday (Amazon says it would be there Monday). I didn't get it until afternoon on Tuesday. All Amazon had to say when I called was "Sorry".

Besides shipping, the mattress is very comfortable. It is memory foam on top and individual coils on bottom. It is soft, but with the support you would want. I didn't notice any weird smells when we opened it. We put sheets on after about 4 hrs and slept on it that night. So far I have no complaints on it getting hot, or not being supportive.

My two cents would be, if you are thinking about buying it....do it. But if you need it shipped over a weekend, don't trust what Amazon tells you...it will take an extra day. (If you need it Monday order Thursday)
