Our efficiency condo is limited in space, but we still need a guest bed. This futon sofa is the perfect answer to our needs. Most other futons have big bulky frames. This one is just right. When the arms are up, it's scarcely bigger than a loveseat. My husband was able to put it together in about 2 hours (and he's no engineer or mechanic). He only needed the little tool provided (no extra screwdriver). The mattress is comfy. Some futons come with springs for the mattress, and the springs can eventually sag. We're glad this futon does not come with springs.
