The song "You Are My Sunshine" is very meaningful to me as it was a love song my Papa would sing to my Nana, my Father would sing to my Mother z"l, and my Mother z"l would sing to me from childhood on. It has profound and everlasting meaning to me. This art piece made of all reclaimed wood was given to me by my husband for my 42nd birthday. I cried when I opened it up. It is a beautiful piece that will always keep the song on my mind. I have looked around, and this is the least expensive price for this piece. My husband bought it at a highend and chic antique/interior design store that sells collectibles for $325. You cannot beat this price as I have checked around diligently. This is a very eclectic piece with rustic charm with the reclaimed wood frame which is unpainted or unfinished. The lettering and grey and white motif on the front add to its rustic charm. It is well made and quite sturdy. It Is great for a cottage, beach house, shabby chic decor style, and country or country french decor style. It can go anywhere from a child's room to a master bedroom, to a kitchen, to a den, living room, or anywhere else that may suit your decor. It is not a formal piece by any means. Overall, this is one of the most sentimental birthday gifts I have ever received. I highly recommend purchasing it if it catches your interest and you have somewhere appropriate to hang it.
