This bench looked great for a couple of weeks before turning gray. The real problem was that it swelled with the rain so the bench wouldn't open. I tried sanding it down so that it would work but it just kept swelling. The seat started to come apart and I gave up. I bought Teak oil and it temporarily helps the wood color, but the swelling problem persisted. Fine for a covered porch but DO NOT leave this out in the elements.
