This is a well-done copy of Amish hardwood furniture that has very little hardwood. The veneer is paper-thin, but it looks like hardwood as long as you do not examine it too closely. I own genuine Amish Oak furniture from when I lived in the mid-west, but I did not want to pay the cost of waiting for a table to be built for me, and shipping it to California. I did not pay shipping on this table due to my Amazon Prime membership.
