We purchased this from amazon warehouse for hundreds less than the $427 amazon is asking however let me comment on this item since it has no other reviews. We ordered from amazon and paid the extra $4 to have it the next day and we put it in our dining room and for our room which is quite wide it looks simple and elegant. The covers over the bulbs are glass and put off a wonderful glow and the colors of the item go well with our wood floors and tan furnishings. Can't say enough about amazon's service or this item. I will say that if you do want it pay attention to the width because for many rooms it may be to wide
