Panasonic MC-UG729 Upright Vacuum Cleaner Review

This was our 3rd Panasonic upright.
First one still in use 20 yrs. old

so is second one 10 yrs old

Its not a whole lot different looking than my other ones

It's quiet not silent ,not at all overly irritating

Tool suction is super & don't understand how other reviewer had problems with it falling over.

Foot lock is easy to use & made of metal.

foot switch for brush on/off is plastic but works well enough,this is a nice feature for bare floors

Vacuum has a nice solid well made feel to it & very nice grip

Bottom plate is plastic ,my other 2 are metal ,but seems ok at this time

The cord is a bit of a let down as the cheap plastic feel to it(this is the same cord that now comes on almost ALL vacuums though so it's ok)
And the other reviewer complained about the cord reel . It'the same as my other uprights I don't see a problem guess I'm use to it after 20 yrs

overall build is very good & reliability of Panasonic's are also very good
On board tools & hose are very good ,although wide floor wand has no place to mount on board.Suction on tools is awesome, turbo brush is EXCELENT!

( one thing to note Panasonic's site states 729 takes U-6 bags which interchange with U-3 bags used in other model Panasonic's,Ok well they work fine BUT sweeper came with U-12 bag ,same connection point , But the 12 flares at the bottom)

U-6 bags are cheap here got some here for like .69 cents a bag when you get $25 WORTH

So far a really good purchase @ amazon
