I replaced my 1 year old Hoover Windtunnel with this vacuum. I have a 19 month old bulldog and in the 3 times I used the new Dyson, I sucked up enough fur to make 3 new dogs! I am amazed how poorly that Hoover did cleaning my home. I do find the Dyson hose to be stiff, but I'm hoping in time it will loosen up.
