I ordered two of these beds for my sons, who were really excited about their new beds. When I opened the boxes I was really disappointed to find that the parts were really cheap, including long panels of cardboard made to look like wood. My active boys would destroy these things within a matter of weeks. For the price I really expected something of higher quality. I am returning them and was able to find solid wood Captain's Bed's with 3 drawers for $100 less at Gothic Cabinet Craft.
