This is well built, fairly easy to assemble, and good looking. Super great for the price.

There are two colors for the JFV60, espresso and chocolate. I ordered this one, seeing the brownish picture, thinking I was getting chocolate, but the "- E1" after the product number is for espresso. Looking at the Sanus website color swatches, one can see that both colors look a similar brown there. My espresso unit is virtually black, and going by the website, it'd be hard to guess on the other. So if you want brown, contact the seller to make sure you get chocolate, but don't be too sad if it is also almost black. I was originally disappointed with my espresso (black), but I decided to keep it and am now very happy with it.

N.B. When you open the box, and for a few days, it is odorous. During the off-gassing period, it is probably a good idea to have good ventilation.

The seller, Beach Camera, was great.

Update: after one month. The unit has developed swayback, it bows down by about an eighth inch in the middle. My receiver, which fits snugly and is a little heavy, and the medium size flat screen are causing this, but it shouldn't happen. I recommend not placing heavy components in the middle sections. Put them over the legs. I'll have to support it underneath. Most of the negative reviews on this product regard wall mounting, mine is sits on the floor with its legs. (Still not too bad for the price though.)

Update 2/13- I returned it after it broke! They tried to get me to package it up. A huge bed! So I called three times and finally they agreed to send a courier to pick it up. Took over a month to get my credit. Crap. Bad move amazon. Think twice before ordering oversize items.

DaVinci Rivington 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail, Cherry Review

I was a bit leary of buying this sight unseen, especially with no reviews and no Google searches turning up anything. Boy am I glad I did though! I purchased the white version, and it is actually more cream/antique than stark white. Easily assembled in about 45 minutes and it is solid! One tiny crack in the bottom of one of the sides, but it'll never been seen and doesn't affect the use at all. Sits low to the ground and has no moving rails, so it is very sturdy for my 18mth old jumping bean! I have a Ra.gazzi crib as well, and this is extremely comparable in quality. The ONLY thing I wish MDB/DaVinci did was add caps for the holes after you screw the parts together. I don't really like seeing the screws/holes in plain sight, but it's a small price to pay for such a quality, convertible item as this price! :) Don't spend hundreds on a fancier crib, this one is unique and durable!

Now that i have cooled down I can give an unbiased review. This bed is exactly as pictured except it it TAUPE. The photo makes it look cream, which it is NOT. The bed is upholstered very nicely and was relatively simple to put together. Took me (by myself) a little over an hour. To make it look like the photo, you MUST use a box spring, if you don't your bed will come to the same height as the side rails. The bed only comes with three slats, not a deal breaker, just an observation.

Now the CONS: I realize the seller is not responsible for the shipping, but they need to get a reputable shipping company. The shipping company dropped the ball three times. I don't know about you, but my time is precious... Once it's gone, it's gone. Three times. Just SaYn.

The frame is pretty good and the product was easy enough to assemble although a better explanation could be given regarding the drawer system and how they are not really attached to the bed at all. The mattress support system is atrocious particularly for the lower Full mattress. The wood for the slats is very cheap and will not support any weight. I had to go out and order slats from another more reputable furniture manufacturer. So if you get this bed, be prepared to order replacement slats or "bunky boards" They are easy enough to find on-line but can be a little expensive. For $500 it's an ok deal but it would be a better bargain for $350-400. Otherwise you are better off spending the $700-$1000 for a better made twin-over-full bunk bed system.

Scottsdale Fireplace Console Review

I received this product with anticipation of it matching the rest of my furniture to some extent. As you can see in the picture it looks like a nice golden oak color with a satin finish. However, it is much darker than pictured, and it looks like it was stained but never had a satin or gloss sealer finish applied. Very poor craftsmenship for being made in the usa. Also some pieces of the wood look like they have a distressed look to it.
The fireplace is great, and very pleasing to the eye. Puts out just enough heat to take the chill out of the air in a small room.
That is the problem with buying online. Until they come up with a way to show the right color I think I will buy from a store next time so I can see the finished product. Or the manufacture needs to state exactly what color stain was used and how it was finished.
