I'm a 30+ year old collector with around 2,000 or more stuffed animals, so I decided to give this a try in sorting some of them out. According to most of the reviews here on the page, the organizer sounded perfect. This was not entirely the case.

The good:
It rises up off the floor instead of hanging or a fat box or shelving like other organizers, meaning if you have a lot of plushes it's a space saver. This is the best and only good feature about the item. Sadly, it's enough for me to consider getting another since I don't have children, I understand the limitations and will use it only myself in a room where only myself and my husband use.

The bad:
The base wasn't sturdy enough and actually snapped apart so that I had to hot glue a section back on it as I was assembling it.

The elastic bands are really only designed to fit "beanie baby" or smaller sized plush. They do NOT hold any sized animal, despite what the reviews on the page say. I even had issues holding medium-sized beanies on it. Be aware that you'll have to choke the living daylights out of your plushies at times if you want to keep them on this. And it looks like they're hanging from a noose to boot - something I winced at now, but would cried at if I was younger.

Those elastic bands fit so tightly I would assume children would have a real problem getting the animals off and on (since I had some problems), and since the base isn't sturdy enough, I foresee problems of it crashing down on them as they frantically tug at a stubborn toy.

Display is not aesthetically pleasing - even while I was trying to keep them all color coordinated it looks like a jumbled mess on a pole.
