This is one swank looking piece when assembled. It looks like a piece in the $600-$1000 range -- just so long as you don't open the drawers. The give away that it's merely a fine veneer over cheap pine is that the screw-holes in the sides of the drawers are screamingly obvious.

Assembly of this piece is required: it involves the driving of 89 screws. I highly recommend using a power screwdriver for this project; I didn't, and it took a friend and I 2 hrs to drive all the screws by hand (and I have the blisters today to prove it.) Additionally, you have to set an equivalent number of pegs; this is not that hard, but a hammer helps immensely (you'll need a hammer to drive some nails, too). The combination of pegged construction and wood screws results in an extremely sturdy unit. Unlike a lot of assemble-it-yourself furniture, this unit, when you've got it together, is real furniture: absolutely solid and never coming apart again, except by means of an axe.

The drawer pulls are wooden rails; for wooden rails, they fit very well and the drawers pull as easily as one would expect without hardwear. The bottom of the drawers and the back of the unit are some sort of press board. The un-veneered surfaces are pine which has been stained to match; the veneer is wonderfully lustrous.

The number of screws and pegs included in the kit is exactly the number necessary. There are NO spares. Do not drop and lose any.

The instructions are reasonably clear. The packaging is phenomenal. The entire box was lined with styrofoam and plywood to make sure if something poked into the box, it wouldn't hurt the veneer. Sheets of foam protect the veneer surfaces from one another. The compartmentalized labeled pouch for the fittings was great.

The instructions said it would take about 30 minutes to put together. It took me and another person an industrious 2.5 hrs to uncrate and assemble this beast -- that was putting in the screws by hand. A power screwdriver will make that go a lot faster.

This piece is extremely sturdy and well built. It looks great next to our front door and people love using it to sit on to put their shoes on when they are leaving. My only complaint which is not a big deal is that the back panel doesn't seem to be the correct size. The panel I am referring to is only the cardboard cover that blocks light from the back which gets tacked in by several screws. It is larger than what you need so you can either trim it or leave it as is and install it which I did. Since its in the back you never see it anyway so like I said not a deal breaker whatsoever!

This is a pretty nice fountain. We bought this item for our business entryway and it really looks professional and aesthetic. It was fairly easy to assemble, except for the hose attachment was having trouble fitting to the water-pump at first. Somehow one of our coworkers adjusted the hose and made it fit better. This juicer gives you a pulpy juice. I have to use a strainer which takes a lot of extra time. It is not a fast juicer. I spend approximately 60 minutes a day making juice. I understand this juicer makes more nutritious juice, but I wish it were faster. It is also not easy to clean. It clogs frequently. I started cutting my kale and celery into little small pieces and it does not clog as bad. This juicer does the job adequately but is rather expensive ($350.00).

Stork Craft Venetian 4-in-1 Fixed Side Convertible Crib, Cherry Review

Received the product a few weeks ago. There were several puncture holes and tears in the box it was shipped in (shipped via UPS; I have had several items w/ damaged boxes and sometimes damaged goods that I have had to report that were shipped from them). No visible damage to the crib thank goodness. My advice, always take photos of the box/packaging if there's visible damage 'prior' to opening.

About the crib... My husband put it together by himself fairly quick. The color is gorgeous. A little deeper than an oak. The height for me is perfect. I am 5 ft tall and don't have to worry about standing or leaning too much on the crib like I had to with my son's delta crib b/c it's railings sat higher up. If you are a shorter person who is looking for a convertible crib in a lighter color I highly recommend this. However, if you are a tall person you might not like the height of the ralings and crib. It may put a lot of strain on your back, which after a cesarean is a horrible feeling. The detail on the crib is beautiful. From the ground to the top of the front rail it's approximately 35.5"; and to the top of the back of the crib it is ~ 40.5". The inside measurements appear to be approximately 27.5" x 52" (or 52.5"- will have to recheck this with some help). I have done some research on mattress dimensions on Amazon and other sites, andhave read a review stating that a Sealy crib mattress fit theirs perfectly. I will post an update once the mattress arrives. Just a reminder to those ordering cribs and mattresses online. Wait until the crib arrives if you are unable to get measurements for the inside of the crib for a mattress. Also, several cribs these days are made with a softer wood, unless you buy a high end ($$$$ expensive) all wood crib. What this means is impressions and indentations are easier to make in them than some other solid wood types. My son's delta crib had the same issues about easy indentation marks being left from bitting on the wood as several other people have remarked with several types of cribs. Having kids = some destruction of things.
****Update: I purchased a mattress on amazon (Sealy Baby Posturepedic Mattress). The dimensions for the mattress fit the crib perfect. Very snug fit with no gaps around the sides. My daughter has been a mover and would roll herself against the sides of her bumper. Since she was too little to move away I took the bumper off. She was then getting her leg caught between the bars when she rolled, so I invested in a mesh crib bumper. No issues with it. The material is soft and easy to breathe through (I did test it out myself). I bought one that fits any size crib. It came with 2 pieces, which i did some overlapping to eliminate gaps. As for using the Neptune Soother aquarium, it is best to put on the tall back side rails of the crib. I had it on the front and it was not secure, and actually fell. It was basically impossible to fit the straps around the front rail. But good on the back (same with my son's Delta crib too). The mobile we used, we attached to the side of the crib for a while. Then decided to put it on the back side of the crib. So far, no issues with the design/craftsmanship of the crib. Had to retorque the hex screws some (b/c my son loves to climb and pull on the rails & tell his sister good morning), but that was it.

I've been looking for a nice bunk bed for my kids the last few months. I've purchased some big items many times on amazon and always very happy. This is the first time it was for furniture...I was nervous.

It was packed nicely in 3 boxes. Nothing was damaged. Nothing was missing. It took me about an hour to assemble the entire bed myself. The only time I needed someone to help was when I needed to put the top bed over the bottom bed. Very easy to assemble if you follow the directions. They are very clear.

The wood is solid. There is no particle board. To me this bed would cost you well over $1000+ at your local furniture store.
