As a private chef who moves from home to home, I have used just about every piece of high end equipment available. My client (who doesn't cook by the way) owns a full set of these knives.
While I do not recommend the entire set, as the blades are too thin (paring knife they broke the tip in the first month) and fragile and the handles are not a comfortable fit, this bread knife is THE BEST BREAD KNIFE I HAVE EVER USED.
After a few hours of slicing through tough mini french rolls,I jumped on amazon and looked this up online. I was shocked to see the price,but bit the bullet and bought it anyway. The serrated edge is like none I have seen or used.
It doesn't tear the bread, no matter how crusty or tender, it stays sharp.

Yes, the price is ridiculous ,but if you are slicing bread on a regular basis and sick of crumbs everywhere and tearing through hard crusts, this is the knife for you.
